    the difference here is that crafting is its own class in this game not something you do on the side. it's like saying you can only have one battle class you can cap and be effective at. this is not xi and the crafting system nor classes are the same and should not be treated as much.
    I'm not QQ the problem is everyone level max craft which mean there noting selling on the market due to the fact everyone have max craft. So what the point of even selling item if everyone can make it themselfs?.

    They should allow everyone to level to 50 but once they rise the cap you can only master 1 craft per Char.

    That's a problem simply because 1 crafter with 1 craft can pump out hundreds of items a day if they felt like it. The only real market will always be in HQ items whether they implement a master craft or not.

    HQ are worthless what do they give? little more def and stars that you don't even know how much it give? it noting like FFXI where +2 show you how much it really give. There other way around it to make sure the craft can't spam 50000 of same item per day.

    In Final Fantasy XI, players could level all crafts up to 60, and choose one craft to master to 100. There is nothing wrong with that and I wouldn't mind that being in this game. Allow players to get to 50 or whatever, then allow you to master only one. It would help gameplay and the server economy a lot more if people had to specialize at higher ranks.

    In that one translation they said they'd like to limit us from mastering all craft classes, what this may translate to is a multitude of things. Perhaps only cap one class but can take the rest to -10 from cap. This would let you repair things but only make the best from a single class. Or it could mean level them all, but only get special benefits for a single class.

    I think players should be allowed to reach max level on all crafts but I also think there should be a limiter somewhere. An idea would be 'specialization' in which the player chooses one or two specific crafts to specialize in, allowing the player to not only craft items that would be impossible without the specialization but also an easier time crafting items under said specialization in general. Players would then be able to freely switch specializations, but at a steep cost (guild marks might be good since max level crafters will have all the guild-items anyway, but also prevents the player from switching too often).

    This idea could be taken further to include special Guild Tasks (the things you get from the Task Board) that would only be available to the player's specialized craft that would reward tokens that could then be used to buy unique and untradable equipment with the added effect of a much needed gil sink.

    they did it in FFXI you got one craft to 100 the rest to lv60

    fishing 100 too.

    it will kill the classes as jobs though if they do that.

    How about letting every crafting class level to 50 then only one crafting class can gain levels beyond 50 whenever they increase the level cap
