Why should I play exactly like you? Should everyone be an upstanding citizen in the game? Should SE take away freedom and make everyone drones? No. Play your own way, don't force it on others.

You don't have to.
You can go and sell Platinum Bracelets all you want. It isn't against the TOS according to the SE. Go wild.
But don't deny that this is Pay to Win. When something that takes weeks to achieve can be done overnight with the help of real world money, then that is Pay to Win.
I don't like Pay to Win. That is what I am speaking out against as Yoshi-P clearly promised that FFXIV will not be Pay To Win.

Pay to win what? I just made 5m in about 10 minutes, bought me a house I probably wouldn't have gave two craps worth grinding for.I'm really breezing through content now.You don't have to.

Thank you for the beautiful example of you winning the race against other players to get enough gil to buy that house by using real money.
"Winning" does not only mean actually clearing content in the context of "pay to win."

5m will get you a FcoB clear. Or it will until Wedding Band inflation causes merc run prices to go up as they capitalize on P2W players.
Because people are spending $20 to make 6-10 million gil.
FFXIV is a Pay to Play game. If you want to be rich in-game, you need to do it with in-game effort. You craft, spiritbond, play the Market Board, desynth items, gather stuff on your botanist etc. All things achieved with in-game effort.
My wife and I have been saving up for a medium sized house. If sales are good, we can manage 2m a week. A slow process, but we'll get there. Now, someone in my server was able to buy a house with the money he made selling Platinum Bracelets.
Now, I see this and I think... What the f am I doing crafting? What took me weeks to do, someone was able to do overnight because of a cash shop item. F this, I'm not going to craft anymore. I'll jump on the bandwagon and just sell bracelets, and whatever cash shop item SE introduces in the future.
When this happens, and more people start to think like this, then no one will craft. No one will bother to gather materials. They'll just make money selling cash shop items. An integral part of FFXIV's content will be destroyed.
That's the last nail to the coffin..... Is not about now people...... Is about the long term damage we doing to ourself

Once I red this, I stop caring. I'm feeling like every post about this CS thing is now a personal problem and not a game problem.

If all you care about is the destination, then why waste time with the journey? If crafting isn't fun for you, why should you force yourself to do it?Because people are spending $20 to make 6-10 million gil.

If you actually care about the journey, then what other people do to reach the destination faster or slower than you did is irrelevant. You were having fun.
Last I checked, this was a game not a job. If you're not having fun doing something, stop. Otherwise you have only yourself to blame when other people skip the journey and head straight for the destination.
It seems to me like you should be considering your own priorities first and worrying about what other people do second.

By this logic, if someone's destination is full BiS gear, but the journey to get it isn't fun for them why should they force themself to do it? Shouldn't SE offer full BiS from the Cash Shop?

That's up to Squenix what they choose to offer in the cash shop. Realistically, anything that WoW offers in their cash shop is fair game in any other MMO. If WoW can get away with it, other MMOs can too.
Blizzard has not offered raid gear in the cash shop because they have always decided that it is not necessary. If in the future they deem it necessary, maybe one day they will. I suspect they won't after 5 years of WoW's cash shop not offering it.
Slippery slope arguments are astonishingly stupid anyways when WoW has had their cash shop for 5 years now and look they're at 10 million subs again. WoW has survived the cash shop, hell even 2 widely disliked expansions couldn't kill it. This game will be fine with cash shop too.
