Target is out of range(?)

Has anyone since this last patch experienced.......quirkiness with their action ranges?

I first noticed this yesterday when I was doing my weekly hunt, and kept getting the "target is out of range" error while I was on my tank, then noticed it A LOT in Qarn today.

Did some tests on my striking dummy, and in some cases when this happens, my casting distance is cut by more than half. But only sometimes. Logging out and logging back in seems to help for a little while.

This happening to anyone else? O.o

I've experienced this a few times while spiritbonding in my "super secret spots of solitude" as a Bard while my target isn't even more than a yalm or two away from my character. It's probably a bug, in which this thread might see better attention in the Technical Support board.

Go to the 'Target' tab of the Character Configuration panel and make sure you didn't uncheck "Automatically face target when using action" by mistake. That can cause the "Target is out of range" error that you're getting.
