Me too...the actual site suggestion posts are way below all these misplaced threads...

People are accustomed to having a "Game Suggestions" forum, but we are limited to General Discussion for that purpose.

Hate to say it, but a moderator could come in here and move all of the threads to their proper location. Eventually people will notice that this is the wrong place for game suggestions..

Actually, this area used to be for game suggestions. When the forum went public there was only 1 sticky that had a sentence explicitly mentioning game suggestions as a purpose of this forum. However, half a day after the forums became public, they created a new sticky called "Feedback and Suggestions on the Game" explaining that suggestions should only be made in the forum of the subject you're posting about. At the same time a moderator moved all the existing game suggestions to the right forum.

Why people keep posting their suggestions here I don't really understand, maybe forget(or didn't bother) to read the sticky.

The latter, I assure you. Although, SE does need to add a Game Suggestions sub-forum for sure.

I blame the grammatical ambiguity of the text in the first sticky thread for the early problems.

"The purpose of this forum is for players to submit feedback and suggestions on FINAL FANTASY XIV, The Lodestone, FINAL FANTASY XIV Forum and other official websites concerning FINAL FANTASY XIV. In order for us to be able to offer a better service, we would like to hear your opinions."

As written, that means the forum is for feedback and suggestions on:
1. FINAL FANTASY XIV,
2. The Lodestone,
3. FINAL FANTASY XIV Forum,
and
4. other official websites concerning FINAL FANTASY XIV.

Now, yes, I realize that in actuality 1 and 2 were supposed to be combined into a single entity called "FINAL FANTASY XIV, The Lodestone". Some people (myself included) posted suggestions for changes to the game itself in this forum because we read the sticky and followed a perfectly legitimate interpretation of it. But again, this was before the second sticky - and the ambiguous first one remains....

i think its more case of people see "feedback and suggestions" and just post away with a blind eye.

MyauNei's right though, with how it's worded it does mean that this section IS for game suggestions. People in general kept telling people to come here also.
