I have a question for you: Why are you still here?

Don't worry, this isn't a cash shop thread telling you to put up or shut up. I figure you wouldn't be so angry at a game you didn't like.

There is a lot of hostility going on and labelling of white knights and black knights. So rather than another negative feedback thread or a thread asking them for something, we could try some positive reinforcement, telling them what we like and what they should keep doing, rather than what we dislike and should be stopped removed or changed.

So like the title says, what is convincing you to pay 15 dollars a month to play this game?

PS: if this sort of thread already exists could someone please point me in it's direction?

edit:I should probably start with myself. I like the nice clothes (I have a retainer dedicated tomy clothes) and the freedom to change and be anything I want.

I enjoy the theme park, think a lot of things could be done better, but I still enjoy it. If I'm walking around a catch a whiff of something nasty, only to find a shit in one of the bushes though? I'm going to complain. That's what the cash shop is to me; a shit in a bush.

Gold Saucer and Airship building will keep my interest until they actually get released, hopefully after they're released too (assuming SE doesn't mess them up). Frontlines is great too, even if it does feel like the servers cannot handle a 72 man instance half the time (*cough*90k*cough*). Potential is keeping me around I guess, probably why I dislike the cash shop so much, seeing as cash shops are basically the practice of cutting up your games potential to lock behind a pay wall (example: weddings had potential for customizing the wedding itself, that option is now part of a premium package).

I absolutely love and adore this game. I love my character, I love the scenery. I love my FC and I love that its something I look forward to by the end of the day to take some stress off from work.

There's more to the game than the cash shop, so why leave if you like the rest of the game? But yeah, since the cash shop crap on the forums has started, I've noticed that quite a few of the complainers from before aren't complaining anymore. It makes me think they did in fact give up complaining or have quit already. So just hang on a bit and I'm sure eventually everyone complaining will either get used to it or leave. It's obviously a success which is probably why SE hasn't even bothered humouring the complainers with a response, so it's here to stay.

Oh, and OT: I actually enjoy the PVP the most. Say what you want about it, but frontlines is my favorite thing to do on the game. I guess I just enjoy playing against others and seeing their different strategies and trying to adapt to them.
