Currently:
Delivers an attack with the potency of 100.
150 when executed from target's flank.
What it should be (according to damage numbers & patch notes):
Delivers an attack with the potency of 100.
150 when executed from behind the target.

I can confirm this.
Greetings,
I spoke with the resident floating eye yesterday and informed him of this issue.
He let me know that he's put the fix in the file!

This was caught and responded to very quickly =)
Dont you mean 250 from behind?
It's "behind" for both uncomboed and comboed. I have no idea why they give you a position bonus for it when uncomboed, but that bonus potency is 150. I understand why it's confusing given how pointless it is.
Sorry I'm still a little confused. At one point, they mentioned addressing the directional requirements because there were some instances were it was impossible to get behind the mob to start the combo. Then they mentioned at another point that they didn't want to change positional stuff because it was affect current rotations and gameplay.
I like the Heavy Thrust buff change because the mob can be slow to turn on initial engagement, but the help text doesn't really get into how you still need to be to the flank for the Ring of Thorns combo.
But I am still confused on the Chaos Thrust combo because I can apply the DoT from flank and behind. It is supposed to both, or one position is supposed to have a greater potency than the other?
