Or, and this might shock you, those people may just dislike her. They don't have to justify themselves to you, nor is it always true that hate for a popular character is to be different. People have these things called preferences, after all.
Get a girlfriend.

laughed so hard and peed a little =(*moves closer to the screen* .............*closer*.............OH, you mean that speck of a crack between two pieces of cardboard? I'd say the only appealing feature is her personality and her torpedo boobs (same size as every hyur) which are amped up with that outfit she wears. wish it was dyable and came in separate pieces though >_>
Minfilia...Where do I begin?
On topic, she is attractive in a shallow way. Blonde hair, amplified assets, tiny waist, revealing clothing. I'd give her more credit for her looks if SE had made any effort to make her beautiful without automatically cashing in on every trope in the book to do so.
If we're talking personality, she's an exposition character. Not to give them an excuse for making her flat and non-dynamic, but the point of her is to push us through the plot, explain things, and give us something to do. She's bland, but at least I understand why.
Regarding her being "revived," I would have been happy if they had killed her simply because it would have been unexpected and they would have dodged a cliche. However, the moment I saw her run off the screen in a cliffhanger ending I knew she was coming back - it was only a matter of when. Unless they literally die on screen, like two white-haired elezen I can think of, they're going to be back. Honestly, I would have liked it if they had killed off all of the people they implied were dead at the end of 2.55 and "ownership" of the Scions passed entirely to Alphinaud who, while working through his issues of failure and inadequacy was forced to git gud. Would have been much more interesting than, "the scions are coming back, you get one per patch, please look forward to it." Very predictable.
If she comes back a bamf, I would still kinda feel meh about it, because it's another stereotype. Personally, I would like it if she (1) came back and (2) had some deep revelations about herself while she was away and then (3) acknowledged her weaknesses and personal failings, (4) was penitent about taking the Warrior of Light completely for-granted and (5) resolved to try to have a more active leadership position and depend on you as her crutch less.
Like that'll ever happen.
If you read Minfilia's dialogue throughout the MSQ and before and after taking quests. She repeatedly thanks and admits she relies on the WoL too much, she also goes through a period of self doubt and grapples with her past and her current leadership.Personally, I would like it if she (1) came back and (2) had some deep revelations about herself while she was away and then (3) acknowledged her weaknesses and personal failings, (4) was penitent about taking the Warrior of Light completely for-granted and (5) resolved to try to have a more active leadership position and depend on you as her crutch less.
I kind of felt sorry by how much she was apologising every time she asked me to do another quest.
True, but she doesn't make any effort to change her reliance on you. She just feels a little guilty about it.If you read Minfilia's dialogue throughout the MSQ and before and after taking quests. If her "mothercrystal" episode has inspired her to take more personal responsibility in a tangible, actualized way it will be totally worth the cliche "cliffhanger ending - is she dead, just kidding she's totally not, but you knew that," thing they pulled.
Only Scion worth ever caring about is kinda dead so meh. All Minfilia tells you by being half heartedly apologetic about using you is that in the end you are just a tool of the Scions and that without you they are pretty much nothing.
Most of your actual allies to give a crap about have been systematically removed from the equation of relevancy. You know allies that actively supported you and got crap done.
I think you only really have Cid left that really means anything to the WoL, or the Jobmasters.
