Vid, I don't contest any of your points. They're all quite reasonable and sound. I only present that it is possible to complete this weapon alone given enough time, even in spite of the fact that there are dramatically better uses of your time. I think the end result is meant to be more of a long term goal requiring less group effort, whereas a primal/coil weapons are an immediate solution to an out-of-date weapon.

I just have the feeling that, even though it may not be the case now, the weapon will at some point be worth having. I want to believe that. And so I put the work in, slowly but surely. Someday we'll know the answer to that one way or another.

We're also in agreement, I was mostly just venting my frustration of the constant requirements for upgrading this weapon with very little gains shown.

I also want to believe this, but I'm a skeptic at heart, and my brain says Square is just going to toss this weapon to the wayside when the expansion hits, making all previous efforts null and void. I hope I'm wrong, but I'm also not going to be surprised IF they announce there will be a brand new relic quest in the expansion that has nothing to do with the current one.

'Scuse the troll, but better healer control configuration options would be worth WAY MORE than +20 i-levels on your relic weapon.

If that genuinely does happen I will be cancelling my sub, lol. I have really enjoyed my relic quest, but I will not be happy if they turn around and go "oh that old thing, nah that doesn't matter now. Look at this shiny thing instead!"
