How is your new zodiak drop rates so far?

I still think it's pretty rare cases of bad luck though.

I've checked around with those who already got their relic, the amount of people who have to do a certain dungeon over 20 times is on the low end.

As of now Tam-tara is still my bane. Need to get it to drop, so that I can access the last dungeon which is SV HM.

I'm one of those people. After doing Aurum Vale and Satasha Hard 10+ times, I hope to never see them again.

I...I stopped counting with the last 5 dungeons I had lol
Amdapor Keep, Pharos Sirius, Halatali HM, Stone Vigil HM, and Tam Tara HM all took a combined metric buttload of runs to get.

Dzemael was very lucky for me; I joined an in-prog at the last boss and got it with one try lol

I'm mostly done now though. Just need 850 soldiery to get the last water and then I'll have my relic. I kind of wish I didn't blow my soldiery on dubbin before the patch came out.

Update since the last time...still 10/16 unfortunately.

I did a couple of Qarn HMs but this biggest thing I've been working on is Dzemael Darkhold just so I wouldn't have a sub 50 dungeons to work on. I even saw it as an oppurtunity to level my Ninja! Two birds, one stone.

Well, 0/10 DD's later and I went from 44-49 on my NIN. >_> The struggle is real. Not my worst yet, but it may overtake 1/12 on Haukke HM soon.

Hmmm I think my worst is 1/7 (Darkhold) and I have had 3 dungeons 1/1 so super lucky on those~! ^^

I have 2 more to do and i think that is all the dungeons I need... and lots and lots of Soldiery XD

I honestly feel that for quests like these they should put in a set limit of runs you need to do and then you just get the item. No reason somebody should have to run one place 30+ times, I have had that happen on two dungeons so far.

There should be a counter on the quest, say around twenty, do that many runs of the dungeon and you are guaranteed to get the item once you hit that mark if you haven't gotten it already. Least then people would feel like they have some control in the matter, having to do 300+ dungeons is still a lot of grinding if your unlucky but at least you will know your getting somewhere.

Amdapor Keep, Pharos Sirius and Tam Tara HM are now pissing me off. Royally.

Been on those three on and off since Sunday evening and this RNG thing is now grating on my nerves. I also realized that I'm now playing less and less since this weekend cuz of the drop rates. Its ironic because now that I have a ridiculous amount of free time on my hands, I now feel very irritated about playing.

Aurum and Dzemael were lucky for me and I got Aurum first try on the first day of patch (thank God) and DD on the second run.... but since then my drops have been annoyingly funky.

I really hate this crap...I think I'm off to purchase Dragon Age Inquisition and abandon FFXIV for a while

@Parodine, just to confirmed, you can get dropped while lvling a job that's not 50 as long as you have the quest and the selected dungeon active.

While farming for Excalibur + Aegis, I was on BRD for lights that went from 50ish to 600 lights. 16/90 dungeons. 500 more Sol to finished off that last water... damn you maint!!!

Yes! I'm going to do those quests again lol and by the time I get another 16 I should be done with the lights for the bow. pew pew

I appreciate the confirmation! I was worried my efforts were for naught. Unfortunately I'm 0/13 on DD and literally leveled my NIN from 44-50 on it XD I'm taking a break, gonna do some of the other dungeons.

Can anyone confirm if you can get these items on a job under 50?

I realize you don't need to be on the job for the quest, but I saw DD as opportunity to level my Ninja up. I've only done 6, but I'm just worried I may not actually be killing 2 birds with one stone.

Yeah I confirmed this a week or so ago. I was on my Pld (level 47, leveled up to 48) in DD and got the item drop at the end of the dungeon.
