Starting on my third Zodiac now. So far I got Haukke HM in 1 try. I've done 3 WP with no results.
Just unlocked the other two quests today so we'll see how it goes. ^^

I guess I paid my dues? Working on my blm and Lost city and AV were 1/1. I about crapped myself when Lost City was first try. ESP after the last experience. Stuck on Copperbell HM atm, only did it 4 times so far. WP took about 10 times though. Last time got it around the third try. It seems for the most part you can get it within 3 runs, or more rarely get it done in 10 runs, or if RNG hates you 40~.Up to 40 runs of Lost city, is there something special you guys are doing before you exit, like /pray or anything? AV took me 12 tries, I thought that was awful, but Lost city is starting to look like the worst for me so far. I'm only halfway through the process, this is my second quest I'm working on, and I've even managed to buy a spring water exclusively by doing this one dungeon O_O.
Now working on Zodiac weapon number 3. Just about the same results as last time: around 40 % drop rate up untill I hit the later Hm Dfs then the rare drops to 10 Now fighting Hullbreaker Isle at 0/10. I have 3 out 4 of the items neeed to upgrade to Zodiac. I've had the same team in Df twice to run this with.
Everything at worst was 4 tries. My worst ones were 1/18 Stone Vigil HM and 1/15 Wanderer's Palace.
I feel fortunate compared to others however. Some have reported going 50+ runs of a dungeon with no drop. RNG at it's finest. I was pulling my hair just doing the 15/18.
At 0/20 in Qarn this time around. Just finished one tonight took 30 mins to get to boss. And another 50 to down it. And no drop. SE could you institute a echo after wiping or something? I thought gee I'm doing the good deed as a tank. The group is horrible, but I'll stick around and "maybe" get my reward. You know what, going forward, if everyone in my pt is at minimum lv for the dungeon, I'll drop just like everyone else does. No reason to stick around with stupid RNG, don't have time for it. I always try to be really patient with people. But why should I, the game doesn't reward it. It punishes you for it.
I got my first, and probably only, Zodiac yesterday. Only drop I got on the first try was Pharos Sirius, which is probably my favorite dungeon, so I'm kind of sad I didn't get to do that one more. The rest averaged around 10 tries, a few as many as 15, and the absolute worst for me was Halatali, which I honestly just stopped counting.
Far more bad/toxic groups than good, unfortunately, and my patience did manage to wear out a few times. It was the very last drop I needed, so after four more hours of nothing I broke down and switched to tank for the queues so I could just get it done, and the second run was so awful I pretty much vowed to never tank again. But I finally got my drop.
Haven't kept track. I know i got 1/1 in AV and Lost City which i was grateful for. I as everyone hates AV. And I suck at Doors in Lost City and don't want to get better. The others my best guess is around 1/5 for most except Pharros probably 1/20 I was getting to the point I wanted to find and strangle that choir boy. So all in all been lucky. Except for Qarn my last dungeon been on it for ruffly 10 days now grinding it and grinding it not sure how many times I'd be scared to know. Saddest part is I still don't even have a Mummy minion. Hate my rolls always under 10 on anything worth more then 100gil or something I want. That's my story so far. As for how people have finished this and still need soldiery, I don't get it I had all my water and bomb cores before even finishing the first three quests and dungeons. Now I'm back to stocking up on Dubbin. And I guess Moonstones from GC not sure what else got entire stacks of Potash and the rest I need for my first set of masterbooks as well
'Round 0/17 for Amdapor City now. I hate this.
To add, I'm fine with doing doors and actually prefer to do it on the last fight because it gives me something more interesting to do than plink away at an otherwise boring boss fight. Atleast 10 of these 17 runs have had new players too, for which I've explained the run each time. What really irritates me is getting into a party with people who have done the dungeon before, still don't understand the mechanics, yet still try to speedrun everything and then nearly cause a wipe on Arioch or Diabolos when the mechanics aren't followed and/or we don't have the DPS. Wanna pull hair out. At this point, I'd much rather explain the stuff to the new people because atleast then I know for sure that they'll have an inkling of what to do.

Everything for me so far has been in under 5 tries. Aurum vale was on my first try thankfully. Really don't want to run that dungeon again. Currently working on sastasha HM.
I have spent over a week in Aurum Vale and still no drop. Been averaging 10-15 runs a day to maintain my sanity. Sadly I have completely lost my motivation to do any other content in the game. These repeated runs are sucking the life out of me. It took over 40 runs of Halatali as well before I got the drop. All in all im now 4/16 after 3 weeks of mindless dungeon grind. Don't think i'm done before the next step comes with the new patch...
