"Shut up and take my likes"

When people are content, they do not post. You can tell how content players are by how much complaining happens from patch to patch. Heck compare when atma came out (only 3 threads or so for a few weeks?) to when the cash shop stuff came out (like 7-10 threads and it's been going on how long?).

When they start insulting others for dare expressing their right to do so, then there's a Good/bad, which has been happening since the Cash Shop.

It's true. I'm at over 30 pointless dramas in my drama collection thread!

Well that's what happens when you look at a group of several different people as one body.
People whoaren't happy are louder than those who are. Likely because the people who aren't unhappy are probably playing the game they are happy with.
The thing is, how many active users are on the forums, maybe 200 or so? 500? If 10% of them hate a patch, despise it with a passion, they'll comment a lot on it. So SE scrambles and does something to soften the blow, and now that 10% is happy.
So what happens next? 30% of the other ones NOW are unhappy because THEY were happy before and now aren't. Of course the forums are going to be filled with complaining, you cannot make a game that actively tries to get many types of players in and expect that every single group is going to be happy. Every patch will make a group upset because it's too grindy, or not grindy enough, or too hard, or not hard enough, or they come from MMOs that actively support cash shops vs those that prefer MMOs that don't have active cash shops...
Yes, it seems like everyone is complaining, but there's not going to be a fix for it unless SE makes the game so niche that only one type of player plays and comments...and even then it would probably divide into degrees of HOW niche to make it.

Never seen the point of being blindly loyal to any company or any specific franchise and sticking behind them regardless of what they do, I just like individual games by themselves regardless of who made them or their IP. This goes especially for companies and franchises whose bad game to good game ratio is much higher, especially in the past decade or so.
