I thought the pricing was pretty clear, gold requires 20 or 2 people paying 10 to get stuff, plat requires 40 or 2 paying 20. not that hard....

Taken from their website:
Platinum Plan
In addition to the features included in the standard and gold plans, the platinum plan offers additional dyeable ceremony attire, and additional color options for carpeting and flowers.
No ceremony would be complete without the proper attire. As you progress through the quest "The Ties that Bind," you will obtain a set of special garments. The garments received will differ depending on your selected plan.
After purchasing said plan, I have received none of these items. So what did I pay for again?
OP, I support you in opposing the cash shop.

Then why are they allowing people who pay the platinum marry people with the free one if it will be completely worthles? it makes no sense.
I'm not asking for both to get the items, but the person who pays it should get them.

Maybe they thought people were smarter? everyone always complains they get babied.
I thought people had common sense to put 2 and 2 together and realize that just maybe...
paying for a plan includes all items and that if it's downgraded, it downgrades to that specific plan+it's features.
My fiancee and I read the fine print and had no problem whatsoever interpreting it, SE might as well post pictures instead of written warnings if so many people are going to mess this up.

If one person wants to pay, they should receive the bonus items, just not the fancy ceremony.
It's uncool to force both players to have to pay or one to forfeit their reward because the other doesn't want to pay.
C'mon SE! Fix this.
I want flowers in my hair!! but I don't want to marry anyone just to get it![]()

The quest isn't complete until after the cermony if I read correctly.... then again i haven't been online all day.Taken from their website:
