Never step down, please. When the game is at a 7-8/10 rating and it's a solid MMO, keep with it. Everyone here would be so saddened (me especially) if you stepped down after FFXIV became a success.

I love the work that you and your team have done with the game. I don't think I could trust another development team with the duties required to enhance this game.

I can completely relate to your dislike of ClickandBuy, but I plan on avoiding that by using the game cards.

edit: I would love SE to at least move to a more reputable service, since it appears moving it back in-house is not planned whatsoever.

Game cards and crysta are also a bit of a waste of money. There's always going to be some quantity of that stuff left over after you pay your subscription, and it won't be enough to pay another month, etc.

Frankly, I'd rather be paying the exact amount of money required to play, no more, no less.

From what I have seen with clickandbuy problems is people replying to emails that are from somthing like corispondance@clickandbuy.co.au, when any email is from clickandbuy.com, I have yet to hear anything official about clickandbuy complaints, if its as bad as people on this forum say rather than every page being people saying on forums that clickandbuy conned them, there would have been some news about it or somthing from government watchdog pages.

Community pages are not proof that clickandbuy will scam you, if anyone can link me to anything like a formal inquiry about them, I may change my views on it, if half the community websites that have apparently been "scammed" by clickandbuy then they would have reported it to officials because they are loosing money, and if there were any merit to these complaints governments will have launched investigations about it.

Community websites arent evidence anyone can say things on the internet, for example I could say paypal are scammers and come up with a nice story about it if I wanted to.
