yes... and when its a really good MMO its very depressing. lvl is maxed out, dungeons are just too easy and never change, monsters are always where you left them, and everyone knows the game too well for it to be at all exciting.Are MMOs EVER complete? Last I checked they are always adding content until they die.
I hope that we continue to see more dungeons which not only offer more choice in content, but also see better balance and changes to current overlying mechanics (see my Timers adding needless difficulty/forced role favor for example).
Additionally, I agree with the OP in that we'll need more than just the easy way out with dungeons and raids. If anything, plenty of other games have that part of the market cornered to the point of boredom.
Open world content is still relatively fresh enough to offer something interesting. The whole Garleans vs. City States offers plenty of potential for 'stuff to do'. Invasions, infiltration, assassination, capture or rescue all taking place in the world? Make them impact the game enough that we have reason to do it and keep doing it; providing a good reason to keep playing our game.
