why SE take away position requirement....
Make no mistake. I'm not you alliances. I'm here cause I just do what I felt is right thing to do.
There is still benefit to landing CT on the rear and FyrmurlFloerasksyn has tested that HT does more damage on the flank. I don't think they intended to fully remove the positional requirements. Just lessen the detrimental effects of missing them.
To squeeze out the maximum dps for the rotation you still need to be landing those positionals. Just means that if you miss HT on flank you don't get punished so hard for it.
Rather than being completely punished for missing a positional attack, you're now being rewarded for have landed it positioned correctly.
It should have always been like this.
They really only needed to remove the positional requirement for Heavy Thrust and the buff it applied. But I dont mind that they also removed it for CT. I expected the positionals to only affect the potency of the attack and that is what they did, exactly like the Monk attacks that merely lose potency for missing the positional. There is still benefit to landing CT on the rear and FyrmurlFloerasksyn has tested that HT does more damage on the flank. Changes are amazing. Hater's gonna hate.
If I was was wearing a hat, I'd take it to you SE.
Drgs 4 life.

I'm not too fond it of either but at the very least there's a big difference between damage of Chaos Thrust and Heavy Thrust when attacking from the right angle.
For example with only HT buff up.
Heavy Thrust
Flank: 379
Other: 220
Chaos Thrust (tooltip error it's rear)
Rear: 616
Other: 427
Others have noted a 120 difference on CT at i110, which makes sense since it is 50 more potency, so 25% more damage; 25% of 425 = 105, not 190. There is a mistake in your numbers.
120 damage per 30 seconds is 4 dps. So staying on flank full time is doing 496 dps instead of 500. it is NOT a big difference -- if anything it is an extremely low difference.

No there's no mistake at all as they were the numbers that appeared on my screen.
What you (or rather I) was seeing is the rear getting a very high roll whilst the 'other' was probably on the low end.
Yeah would explain it tooSorry for being a bit rude. But yeah, it's not going to make or break a drg dps.
I'm not really complaining, I was just asking a question based on what Fyrmurl said. I main Warrior so this really changes nothing for me at all.
