No one in your FC has desynths nor on your server offers help for tips? I'm just saying even without being able to craft their should be much cheaper optionsI only have one crafter above level 30, and that is my GSM, which is level 50. I have to level all the other crafters to at least 30, then desynth numerous times just to get high enough to desynth one of those 3k items. Then if I'm lucky I'll get the desynth perfect, otherwise the desynth level goes down and I have to raise it again. This is a problem for those of us who wanted to BATTLE, not craft all the time.
I've met more than a few people who don't like crafting (I'm one of them), who have not touched it much or leveled it higher than level 15, and now we're being forced to do it. You should not have to have 100%'d the game and leveled everything to max just for a weapon FOR ONE BATTLE CLASS that has an ilvl weaker than the Final Coil weapons. You do less work just running through Coil.
In the FC, they want the people themselves to do the desynthing, and I haven't seen anybody desynth for gil in return, at least not in the chats at Mor Dhona or Limsa Lominsa.
Well, we can't do anything about you being in a egoistic FC. This relic step will take a bit longer than Nexus grind, because of the vast amount of dungeon runs you need on average, but it feels far less tedious. I'm absolutely ok with this upgrade step.
I don't think that's possible since you can only have max 300 skill level combined & spread across all DoH class. And since the requirement for desynthing these are skill level 50 minimum, you can even only have like 6 DoH out of 8 DoH, which I think is a total waste of time for not maxing on 3 of your favorite DoH class. In general, that's like 5 class level 50, 1 level 48, and the last two are level 1 since desynth skill level can't go below 1.
You definitely need others to help for this relic. No way you can solo this, despite how much you want to brag about it. ^^;

And OP, please update 1st post. Try have responsibility for making the thread please. ^^;
You can solo it. You don't need all desynth levels at once. Go one for one. But working together with other peeps will be more worthwile.
I do realize that the desynth system were made flexible to change and players also has been given the ability to quick reset their desynth level back to 1 in order to rework on other classes.
But I fail to see the reason for players to leisurely resetting their desynth level. Even with current 2.45 relic progression for your reasons, it's just insane.
So yes, I'm still going with the "not possible". Don't think there's a players that's too autistic to go such lengths, especially for an MMO. (forgive my objective remarks though)
Well getting your desynth level to 50 which is sufficient to desynth i55 stuff is a matter of 1-2 hours and about 200k-300k gil. Sure i wouldn't reset any skill when I have leveled three.
I think that step is way more comfortable and easier than spamming hm primals 500 times...
Don't know if it's been mentioned yet, but I just did Aurum Vale on my 47, now 48, Paladin and I got the drop for the Zodiac quest. Confirmed you do not have to be even on a level 50 job to do these as long as the quest is active. This is actually kind of awesome.
Are you the guy that sells coil runs / extreme primals for "insane amounts of gil for ['five - eight minutes'] of their time?"I don't mind buying the NPC mats. I don't mind farming dungeons or primals. But, the day you put in three-star crafted items, is the day I say FU to the relic quest. Talk about only catering to the already rich, the want-to-be-rich and the greedy crafters who want to charge insane amounts of Gil for thirty seconds of their time.![]()
