    Which is why Jump's cooldown has been decreased to once every 12 GCDs from once every 16. That is one of the major dps increases of the Dragoon buffs.

    More SSDs and DFDs is fairly annoying to me as a Paladin when I'm trying to interrupt stuff only to see them resisted because a Dragoon (or to a lesser extent Monk) used a Gap closer/stun for extra dps, but I like Jumping when I'm a dragoon.

    So if I'm reading this correctly, DRG got:

    100 extra potency for every Chaos Thrust (50 from positional, 50 from DoT)
    30 extra potency for every Phlebotomize
    30 extra potency for every Full Thrust
    Ability to use Jump on recast (30s) and have Power Surge (60s) up for every other Jump
    Slightly shorter Life Surge recast (pretty minor imo)

    Just in terms of DPS, this is a lot. Add in the QoL changes with positionals and higher mdef and you got yourself a bandwagon waiting to happen.

    I'm no main dragoon but even after SE remove the position requirement,i WILL still HT from the flank and impulsive drive from the back because i don't want to change my muscle memory and i have fun with these positions.

    The goal of the changes were not to make DRG OP but to make his life easier and match the rest dps wise. All the changes are cool and DRG will be hot again.

    You still need to do flank for Heavy Thrust because it only changes the position requirement for the buff.

    Start the fight with HT from the flank is dragoon signature in my opinion and i love it even its not my main.

    It's tool tip error. It's rear for CT like stated in patch note. The postional requirement shift from ID (Which does not require any anymore) to CT .
