    Well they shifted the positional from Impulse Drive to Chaos Thrust but the wording for Heavy Thrust has me slightly confused:

    "Weapon skill direction requirements for the additional effect have been abolished."

    Is it lower potency from another direction? This isn't entirely clear. If it it then my complaints will easily be alleviated.

    Yeah, how I take that is basically for Heavy Thrust, you can stab the mob wherever you want and still get the DAMAGE UP buff, buf if you wanna maximize DPS and potency, you still would want to use it from the side, but at least you won't get screwed on the buff. that's my way of reading it anyways.

    No, heavy thrust and impulse drive do maximum damage from any position similar to Ninja.

    Whine whine whine.

    XD Honestly I wish they would have left the positional requirements... This seems like A LOT. I'm grateful, but It seems like a lot more power given than need.

    Not only is there no positional requirement~ OUR MAGIC DEFENSE HAS BEEN UPPED. That is huge to me. I'm excited.

    I don't really care about the MDEF boost either as the only difference it would make is slightly better survival in final coil and people were just complaining over the logic and pretty numbers than the actual experience. Without the pos reqs, it just seems like you're playing a rogue.

    I do agree that the pos reqs were important, but I know of me there is a lot more to it. Without having to worry about pos reqs AND the CD change, the pace of our job is probably going to be a lot quicker. The MDEF boost is also not slight at all! At least not to me~ The amount of DMG that we take from unavoidable magical attacks was HUGE especially if you paired it with BfB.

    My group got through adds on T11 today and I took 9393 damage from Unmitigated Nerve Cloud while our WHM took only 6266 from same attack. That is taking 50% more damage so I'm hoping these changes to M.Def are noticible (as they should according to notes) :P

    lame. no mention of elusive jump getting its timer reduced. Still good buffs though
