Japanese people keep all of their information condensed in ONE THREAD for LITERALLY YEARS. What is the problem with using one thread if the OP is still relevant?
Yes, but they always have a meaningful discussion topic like "Frontline Discussion Tread" or "Eurkea Discussion Thread".
It is not something like "I want an official response".
I don't think anyone would complain if this thread from 2014 had remained active until now, as the Japanese thread (and indeed a handful of english ones) do, but pretty much anywhere across the internet it's considered poor form to bump a long-dead thread back to the front page just so you could add your two cents.
