Well, with Patch 2.45 starting to be implemented in less than half an hour and a Live Letter dedicated to the details of said patch airing (exclusively in Japanese) almost ten days ago, I am disheartened by the lack of speed in which the contents of said letter were shared in non-native tongue across the forums.
Please do not misunderstand however that this is helpful indeed, however the live letter did contain a lot more than just a few Q&A points.
One needs look no farther than the English General Discussion forums a few hours after the unofficial translations were shared around the community. Ones that might not be exactly how something was worded or the context was misinterpreted.
We, the community, know that the localization team is usually quite busy and tasked with handling many things, especially prior to a patch release. However, I feel it would be in the best interests of the community at large if there was a fundamental shift in priority regarding the Live Letters.
Firstly, no I am not asking for them to be in English only. That would be selfish and still cause problems with the other parts of our community. Second, my proposal is merely a suggestion to help ease tensions as well as help the community better understand how the devs are handling things.
My suggestion is thus:
Live Letters, regardless of language, should be translated in full within a fourty eight hour time span from airing.
We've seen letters being translated live on the floor of E3 and Fanfest. 48 hours should not be an unreasonable request for what the community considers vital information.

We have had 1 Normal Letter from the Producer and 1 Live letter from the producer and the patch related to this live letter before the letter was translated. Forty Days is a bit much for this kind of information.
