Suggestion for dealing with alts

I'm interested in knowing one thing....

Why alt characters?

I mean.. You can be everything in one, and even work for gear all its classes, and trust me that's enough of fun and time too.

(No, but seriously, I know of few people who likes this, and I was curious, so far only reply I obtained once was ''Because I can raid with two characters'' But that's just not valid for me...It's not like you can trade the stuff, isn't it?)

So many inventory slots.... So many... *rolls around in space*
