Gift Wrapping, Tents (Campfires), and Moogles?

Simple request for gift wrapping (shoot me and inform me if this is already in game, I swore I searched first). Request to add campfires. Also somehow I got into a moogle feature so.. useful featured Moogles by tangent?

Alright the longer version (I don't want anyone wanting the above to think the below is what is required, feel free to add your own twists):

These ideas are not exclusive to WoW but it was something I enjoyed and would be a little bit inspired from.

For the wrapping - basically you could take an item and apply a wrapping to it making a wrapped present, then someone else could open it (unwrap) and receive a gift that was also a bit of a surprise. It was just very cute to see, and fun to give other people. As an additional bonus you could also use the mechanics, or the basic concept of 'containers', in other parts of the game (like in WoW) like a Goblin dropping a "gobbie's purse" (some clever FFXI allusion text) with some nifty little consumables like bombs or whatever else. A fun extra could be an unwrapping animation.

Campfires/tents - now this one, imo, fits in a logical fanservice way. In a lot of FF games you could set up camp (tent usually) to rest. In WoW (please don't maul me forums) it would allow you to cook food and would give you a buff. Now cooking is used through crystals so that really isn't needed but you could do the buff, and the role playing, but a few other suggested ideas: Log out at a camp to gain rested experience in the wild, decrease cooldown durations (not valid in dungeons), call moogle, and one I like but maybe harder or impossible to balance is to offer supplies. Tents might take up too much space, depending on dev opinion and restrictions to placement - so campfires is an easy alternative.

Call moogle would have to be a quest or upgraded form but like in FFIX you could call a moogle for a simple shop and character management. Say from that screen you could send a max of 5 items back to a retainer (with delivery time), send mail, send retainers out on quests or complete quests so long as the retainer itself has room, request a max of 5 items with ETA lengthening by amount requested, and gardening management (Yes, yeah- I want my FFXI moogle back, yeah I know this isn't FFXI but this is I want my moogle, so kupo you too). Moogles have had and deserve their own request thread, this kind of came out on accident just thinking of FF(IX) and tents. Technically doesn't need to be connected to camps but it was my tangent point.

What I mean by supplies (be ready for something entirely unneeded but I fancy...) is when you rest at the camp you get a set of supplies you can pull from the storage pack (special potions that are untradeable and removed on logout). The set can either be standard or use some sort of special system. I imagine an easier customized system would have a few types of tents and then add craftable requisition potion sets that act like materia to slot. You can bind the pack into the tent as if it was materia, now when you use the feature say RejuvIII it will give you 3 regen potions with a stock of 9 with 1 potion restocking every 45 minutes. This way you could have cheap tents with simple features and expensive ones slotted with expensive requisitions. My concern is that you'd seriously damage the Alchemist once demand of the tents has dropped (few would buy x-potions if everyone had it slotted as 'materia', and few would use the tent if the 'materia' cost is too much). Now a logical comment/question is holy cow why? Well one I think it would be neat to see people rest up, specially together (can set rules to allow other players in party to pull from stock), two I like to save inventory space so I could just have one item create X(slotted potion sets) types when I need and then disappear when I don't need them anymore and three... yeah I know I'm sorry if you read this and hated it. I try to keep a general rule of asking what I think would be cool, as long as it doesn't hurt others I /try/ not to be a dev and say “too much work”. I am concerned if it would hurt Alchemists, I’m not sure, the fact you might buy a requisition and then it binds to you, and you then will remove it (but can’t sell it) and upgrade, might help them out in the long run. But.. Hm.

Anyway the supply idea is not the sole purpose or idea of camps/fire so feel free to ignore it but not hate this post if something else you liked.

I would like to see cute in dungeon benefits but not seem mandatory.. Maybe if you rest at a camp so long as no monsters are within 20 yalms that creates an optional shortcut/respawn point.

Now all they need is a automatic seating option (right click add seat, log) or just add some more minions you can sit on like the cushion pillow lol.

I created this thread rather than derailing someone elses, but in essence it is a response to:

It's not that I've seen. I really want SE to implement something like this.

On the subject of the tents possibly making Alchemists obsolete, that isn't necessarily a problem. Just make it so that the only way to get these slottable 'item sets' is by crafting them as an Alchemist. I could see the exact recipe requiring some lumber, leather, or cloth (to create the actual 'container' the items would be in), plus a certain number of the desired potions. Obviously, this would mean they'd only provide a limited number of uses before you had to 'reload' the tents, but since this wouldn't be designed to give any competive edges, there shouldn't be a problem with that.

Also, I think it'd be really nice if you could sometimes find little packs of items off of monsters that could thematically have them, like getting an Imperial Supply Bag off of the various Garlean units, Scorched Leather Sacks from Amalj'aa, Watertight Bags from Sahagin, etc. Just a nice little bonus like some extra gil, maybe a few shards or random crafting items, nothing too special like a minion.
