His skill wasnt bad, just shitty armor, and the newb dps kept switching targets before the "primary" was dead.

    I kept thinking to myself; 'self, why didnt we bring two healers? This is a pre-made party, so no class restrictions.'

    This got me wondering:
    - Do you all find yourselves conforming to the norm even when party makeup is unrestricted? Just the opposite?
    - Do you always come with an extra healer or tank to REALLY difficult trials/raids?

    It reminds me AK demon wall was a dps check previously, with only 1 dps most likely unclearable...^^;

    God I remember doing AK pre-nerf in like i50 gear, one healer at current gear is still overkill with the nerf even with an i55 tank.

    As for party compositions, we used to mess around a lot ages ago doing 3 whm 1 smn titan egi tank dungeon runs.

    Ran normal mode primals with 4 DPS and no tank, 3 healers and 1 DPS as tank, 3 tanks and 1 healer. Not over geared, we were all leveling. I've run many 4-person dungeons with 4 people that were not the 'standard' makeup for training purposes. What better way to train a tank than to take turns and show them what to do? Same with healer or DPS.

    I don't really know too many people who play the game, so I don't really get the opportunity to go in a dungeon with a pre-made party. The one time we did it, it was a run through Dzemael Darkhold with 4 DPS, with heals only really needed for the last boss, which the Summoner took care of. That was pretty fun and would like to do again.

    In pre-made PFs, I seen 3 healers, 3 Tanks...just about anything. Sometimes this done to carry 1 or more members thru easy fights Hm primals , early Coils and some DFs. I like the idea behind pre-made non-standard partys. In fact, while I was learning Scholar at lv 50 I had a friend come along as Whm to help me heal Ak. I'd never healed a Df before. It worked for me.

    Fun fact: I've cleared Ak and WP without a Tank,thats 1 Bard, I Whm and a Nin. We rocked!

    Did an AK run with 3 healers and a tank, and this was before it got nerfed!

    Looking back on this video, I can't believe how different the game looked; the "target's target" bar was the same shade of blue as a party member, AOE lines used to be red, there was no blue flag icon for party members next to their names, and Holy used to be 240 power instead of 200 now. Man so much has changed...
