-DC while crafting = instant botch
-DC while leve = instant fail
-DC during dungeons= instant kick

Yeah, this is one of the biggest issues I have with this game. The server should remember what you were doing when you DCed and just restart where you were.

So if you were in the middle of a leve and you DCed, it freezes the mobs with their current health % where they were, and waits until your leve times out before they depop.

And if you're in the middle of crafting, you should resume where you left off, or it should at LEAST attempt doing standard synthesis the rest of the way.

I've lost a lot of crafting materials due to DC issues. It's driving me crazy. DCs wouldn't bother me if the game didn't punish you so heavily for them. The worst is when you're well above the recipe level (the kind you couldn't fail if you tried), but you DC and still lose the materials.

I can't control the quality of my internet connection. I have the best available out in the middle of nowhere. It's fast enough to play FFXIV but it drops packets every now and then. Often times I'll see R0 and start swearing, and then i'll get connection again and see people moving / talking and yet it still kicks me out of the game. That's the worst.

This DC issue needs to be addressed.
