Content to unite the whole world?

Thought it would be nice to have content where everybody on a world works together and shares a progress bar, and we all do our part to see its completion and get rewarded.

It can be a different challenge each week, like defeat X amount of sahagin, craft X number of hq ingots, where X = 1 million or whatever is a realistic goal for all players.

Just to give us all a common goal and something else to do. When successful, the reward item could be added to itinerant moogle vendors of that world.

Agreed. We need more server wide activities.

I'd also like to see something like the Astral Candescence make a return, granting everyone a buff of some kind as long as we maintain control of a region or completed a weekly task.
