Aren't Leves Meant To Be Possible On Your Own?

I'm a 26 rank Archer.

I can't level in the 25 dungeon, because on my server, it's impossible to find a party of people the same level. It's always higher end characters running, with people my level joining in. (so exp is pointless.)

So the only way that seems the proper way of leveling is to do Leves... here comes my problem.

I'm doing Rank 20 levels, on solo and they just woop my backside. I did one where I have to kill these skeleton things, and you always have to fight too. Impossible for me to stay alive, even with cure.

Isn't one point of leve's, is that you can solo them if needed?

What star level are you doing the leves on? Because my husband and I duo all the time and have no problem doing 4 stars on that one and we are about the same rank as you.

Well to be fait the skeleton quest in Horizon is hard even on solo level. Altho at your level you should be able to do 2 stars.

You are an archer but did you level ccon or thm to get at least the level 1 cure or sacrifice to help healing yourself? It's like level 8 I think so it takes about 30min to get it.

Aside from that, try to bind one of the targets when they come in pair and focus on one.

Yeah, that leve was kinda brutal. But I was able to pull off whichever difficulty had rank 25 skeletons duos as a rank 18-19 gladiator. Guard, sacrifice, stoneskin, second wind, rampart, and shockspikes allowed me to barely survive, though.

But you know what still sucks? 1000 needles from a rank 20 cactaur... Why the hell is this ability still being used by low rank cactaurs? The leve requested me to kill 10 of them, and the last 3 attacked as a group. Surely one of them was going to bust out the needles.

hehe see? me it's the other way around, as a CON I had a lot of trouble with the skeletons on solo difficulty when I was level 18-20 but the cactuars were easy bait. They would die quickly from magic and not gain enough tp for their needles.

And then you have leves mobs that are right on top of a nm you can't solo at that rank...

Do you have multishoot yet? That attack usually devastates pretty much anything, and if it doesn't it gives you a ton of tp to spam on the enemy.

wow its pretty much impossible to lose on leve thats 6 levels under you. how do i help you? mab lower the leve level? if not go to LL and do leves there.

I had a friend who restarted who kept failing as well (1-star for the recommended level or lower). The combination of a low physical level & non-healing abilities from other classes. That's the best i could tell him.

He ended up getting discouraged and left again till physical level removal.

No one is going to give FF14 chance if they keep getting discouraged like this, makes me sad.
