Adding new Tank classes WILL NOT make people who only like playing their big flashy numbers classes killing bad guys into suddenly playing a Tank class. Healing is more fun since you actually have an impact, that is healing people (moreso when they're slowpoke baddies standing in the fire) which allows to counter their lack of reactivity for ex. As a Tank you're just a meatshield, once you built enough aggro you can basically go to the toilets for a minute and still do fine lol

People prefere to relax dpsing and not be the leader or yelled at. Some find it too demanding or pressuring. That's why people don't want to play Tank in pugs. Adding new Tanking classes won't change that.

If people can't bear waiting in queue they can /shout in MorDhana, ask their FC, make a PArty Finder or just roll as tank. People complain of the lack of tank because nobody wants to "sacrifice" themselves into doing it...

DPS doesn't need easier queues. Queues need more tanks and healers.

Instead of trying to change the game to revolve around DPS, why not give healing or tanking a shot?
    ^ This one got it.

I also agree with this. 4 ppl are too low of a number. 5 or even 6 with 4 dds would make things much easier to get into ques.

Until they add drk.. then it is will be dps needed for everything

This is a FF MMO not a Romancing Saga MMO. When have we had 5 man parties in Final Fantasy? There might have been one game, but the majority of the games have been three man parties or four man parties.

Final Fantasy IV. Can I count XI too?

X you have three active but can swap anytime, I'd count that.

To be fair, then SE will have to add a swapping mechanic into ffxiv, where the reserve people will be sitting there just to watch their comrades fight.

Only if we get experience like we did in FFXIII, where even sideline characters win too.

No one would ever swap me in because I suck, so yay!

Everyone needs witty and comedic relief! Plus, we can always train you to be better.

As for increasing the party size, I'd have to say it would require them to redesign the entire game's party structure entirely. All dungeons would have to be made stronger. Certain content that worked with 4 people will now require 5. It sounds like a nightmare.

They're worse atm. The more people in ilv 630+ ready to raid, the less are queueing since they gain nothing by queuing rdf hc anymore past that gear treshold.
