You haven't come out and said that they're evil per se, but you do constantly demonize the "elite" raiders in the vast majority of the posts from you that I've read. These posts range anywhere from accusing "them" (i.e. hardcore raiders) of being run sellers and/or involved with RMT to claiming that they not only are unwilling to help new people learn the content, but go out of their way to exclude them. Most of what you say is completely unfounded and doesn't really apply to most of the raiders I know. Hell, my group goes out of our way to help competent players get clears because it's fun and because the 100 soldiery bonus is pretty scrumptious. I've spent hours tanking Shiva EX learning and clear parties this past week. Tonight we helped a friend get a T8 clear. There's so many more. I really wish you'd look beyond the "elite vs casual" mentality and realize that we're all players, and more importantly, we're all people behind these keyboards. Our outlooks and attitudes are as widely varied as those of random people on the street, no matter what our raiding experience or lack thereof.
People that want to learn are perfectly capable of making their own parties for players in the same boat. At some point, someone has to step up and be the one that puts the party out there on Party Finder. More often than not, a more experienced player will join to help out. As far as run sellers go, why is that a slap in the face? If people didn't pay for clears, there wouldn't be run sellers. There's always people with more gil than time (or skill, whichever the case may be) that are willing to pay for that kind of service. Players that want to learn are still left with the option to do so. People selling runs have no adverse effect on them whatsoever.
For what it's worth, on the previous game I played, one of the raiding statics I was in originated from the equivalent of a PF party. You never know who you'll meet or what will happen until you put yourself out there.
