How do I find a static raid group?

I'm a DRG and I know how to play my class. None of the high-level content I've encountered is particularly difficult to me; I can dodge and follow mechanics pretty much 100% of the time. However I have a really hard time clearing anything because I can never get a good group. I've tried asking my FC for help putting together a static but no one seems interested. I'm just curious how I should go about finding one, because I'd really like to be able to raid but it's difficult to clear content when everyone isn't playing their jobs perfectly. Titan Ex in particular was a nightmare because most PUG's can't seem to deal with the slim margin for error, so even though I easily cleared the mechanics every time, it felt like I must have done it 80 times before I got a competent group.

I've seen a few static groups advertising in PF but it seems like most want you to have cleared up to T9 or something but without a dedicated group I'm not sure if I'll ever get past T5.

Well I'd say your first step should be finding a new FC. If no one is willing to help you or group together you may be better off elsewhere with potential to progress. There are many FCs who are helpful and take the time to teach members fights and help them get the kills. Once you have a minimum of T5 under your belt I'm sure it will get a bit easier to find a static. The main thing is that most statics that are actively seeking raiders are entering or already in FCoB. So you're a bit behind content wise and should try to catch up as quickly as possible (again this is where I'd suggest a new FC if your current one won't help you get the job done). Outside of the previously mentioned things I'd say spend some time advertising in PF or /shout chat in Mor Dhona + the 3 major cities. Try to find others at a similar progression level.

just want to share that we are a crafting server mostly.
very few groups are hardcore or care about progression.
I know a few people who wouldn't mind helping you clear T5 I join them in PF often to help clear.

Well my FC is called WDrag we have a med sized house in limsa and a fairly active FC. We have our share of crafters and raiders and you're more than willing to join us if you'd like ^_^. You dont even have to join our FC, we will help you clear t5, and if you wish to keep raiding SCoB and FCoB (after t9 clear) we'd be more than happy to do runs with you.
