can we please talk about character customization options?

There are some things they just have to say, "you know what, it's going to take extra work but we'll do it for you".

Too many times they take the easy route because "they can offer us 'more' other things instead"... which actually feels sort of rude because a lot of the time we want the ONE thing instead of the 'more' other things.

SE, please understand that some of the time we'd PREFER you give us less if it's ACTUALLY the thing that we REALLY WANT.

Like taking time out of delivering certain content to give us Chocobo's during Queue or a TP Bar or new Beards instead of Hairstyles.

I agree. Also, i wouldn't mind you adding things and even having them as quest rewards. Beards, new hairstyles, body tattoos, etc. I have ADD and I always get bored with how my character looks. I would actually take you adding less mounts every patch or update just to see more character modifications.

I would like it if a freckles option was added to facial features instead of face paint~ Its a little silly that I can't have eye make up AND freckles.

or just let us choose more than one option from that set.

What new hair styles FFS, pigtail for lalafells and long hair for cats. What about the other races? Oh yeah... you added dread locks... Some actual different options would be nice please.

Well tbh thats to cut down production time on mesh gear models. Also it would increase data traffic exponentially. If that was available, Mor Dhona can get bad now, it would get much worse if they increased data that much.

If they had 3 body sizes, they would need to create 3 models for each armor piece, one update adds 30 armor pieces? Instead of 30 that would be 90, multiplied by every race and sex. So the amount of work would increase massively slowing down updates a lot. They could add rigged mesh but they would have to totally redo the character models, plus data needed for rigged is higher than fixed mesh.

I'm in absolute agreeance with those that have specified different hair options. In terms of color, we have so much freedom, which I love, but when it comes to the styles...I feel they are all so similar. Personally, I'd adore more long hair options, but also diversity in type (wavy, curly, etc), style and texture. I look forward to the potetial!

They've catered to the hairstyle people a lot (I know it's still far less than what people are wanting) & have refused to work on new beards etc.

It'd be nice if once in a while they would give us a beard/stache/facial feature/tattoo patch in the mix.

I've heard it's more difficult, but that doesn't mean neglect it entirely. Some of us care much less about hairstyles over these other options.
