I'm saying that tanks tend to have qualities to the weight of armor, mages do not. Hence the stats (check your tank's strength vs mage's). "There exists a mage that wears armor" does little to what I was implying. Also I was most particularly saying that people complaining tanks can wear robes does not make sense to me, if we were talking logic tanks could wear everything because there is nothing special to wearing robes (unless as I said some magic requirement or you die.. lol, some lore). SE isn't using all logic though, its more of a few desires that they lean towards with a gray scale.

But again a lot of the argument relies on consistent mechanics which SE doesn't really have so I admitted it was kind of a loose interpretation of armor and classes.

Of course Papa responded that you're the same hero in both occasions, gameplay wise I don't think that is quite true but it is certainly lore wise so lol (so as in the first post and below, bottom line "I like some structure, if others want none then a system that allows both is preferred).

    No idea :P

Like I said in the post, it was a loose argument. What I imagine SE sees is based around a few pillars of truth that are more like bendy flag men. They have a general iconic image they strive for and certain pillars can bend.

Third time for clarity the response was more to be quaint and "Tanks able to wear robes makes more sense then mages wearing platemail" - I know SE hasn't be most consistent in "ability to wear" but regardless of that I prefer SE to stay at least semi-restrictive, or a toggle.
