I think apparently C&B has some sort of shady track record and doesn't allow you to unlink your CC information w/o sending them letters in some other country or something. People just want a direct to SE billing system.

This is a great thread and a positive, refreshing letter. I totally support this. +1
In their fiscal report FFXIV was never on the chopping block. They didn't plan to cut it even when it was costing them and I doubt it plans to get cut unless it somehow flops after it has been redeemed as a pay to play. Either way I support your post. Added my like to the many.![]()
Yeah, i'm sure he is going to let 5+ years of work go down in the dumps, and have let YoshiP work on this game for no particular reason... /sarcasm
Its free to play, that's one indication that they wont let this game go. They are taking ideas from the community and throwing in the better concepts of the ideas and implementing them in their own way.
If any of you have heard anything about Wada dropping this game, then I've missed that conference, must've been a bit too busy enjoying the summer event to notice.
- ClickandBuy is not available in all regions, leaving some without a payment option as crysta is not available to them either.
- Transactions to ClickandBuy being bounced as the relevant bank's automated fraud-protection security is tripped by them.
- A lack of response to correspondence on the matter or customer service, both with respect to this game, FFXI and various other industries/products.
That's it in a nutshell.
Thrown my *like* in with the OP, bringing it to 140 likes. The game is showing amazing promise and, given the administrative hurdles such as payment options are cleared (currently no indication of how this may or may not happen) then it stands to become Square Enix's new cash cow in the not too distant future.
Dear Mr. Wada,
Before square and enix merged to form squenix, which is less than the sum of the two parts sadly, your parent companies made cool games. Please stop doing whatever it is that caused you to make a game as bad as FF14 and release it in such a pitiful state. The fans who buy your products want good games with fun gameplay, good stories, and interesting characters. While fixing FF14 is a good thing, you should think of all the profits you haven't made from subscriptions in the last year and realize you are tarnishing your company's name and reputation and losing any edge you might have had in a competitive market.
Signed, me
PS. I'd really like it if SE would be a more open to releasing some of their manga in the US.
No one expects the miquote inquisition!!!
While I doubt you are being honest, in the freak event that he does...
Jim has the answer to Squenix's problems.

I was referring to when the console release happens. Word of mouth, early reviews, beta impressions along with the fact that many PC titles not doing so hot in comparison to their console version it's a surprise the PC version sold the 600K+ copies it did world wide. - and it probably did on the brand name alone.
