Naw! No one care about males! Also, it was extremely fun seeing the male bikinis and their /pose. This event was 150% Lienn-approved content! This one didn't even finished still and i'm alreeady looking foward to next year's one! <3 New poses, new bikinis...i can't wait! Whoever made these bikinis (both male and female) and the /pose animations deserves a kiss!

No. Also not everyone is happy with summer events mainly focused on female characters so... what's the laugh for? You can have male characters in swimsuits without it looking like a gay parade.

Japanese culture seems to consider that non-skinny androgyne teenage boys are some kind of extreme bodybuilders, that led us to that horrid /pose for Highlanders.

And why the hell do you have to liken it to homosexuality? I've never seen guys in skimpy outfits at the gay pride parades over here. You need to reconsider what you're saying before you make it sound offensive. Jeez.

Furthermore, I think the swimsuits look fine. In fact, it's pretty realistic to what I'm used to seeing on American Beaches, except most of them are overweight. e.e

There is an event just for boys, just like there was for FFXI. When the events started happening, Eorzea kinda missed the calendar date. There's an event for both genders quite near each other in terms of date.

In fact, Ask a mod to ask Yoshi-P. Chances are he'll never have considered that people thought there was only an event for women.

Wait... I don't get it. First of all, I didn't realize the event was 'focused', or had, to be 'focused' on either gender. Why couldn't they have just given females the sexy bikini (like they did), and males a nice pair of surfer-trunks (like they most definitely did not)? Does that break the game or something? lol

There's a good chance trunks will appear next year, and then the year after maybe we'll get a surfboard weapon, who knows? Why is it that when something happens, something optional and something that's supposed to be fun and lighthearted, people always have to tear it apart and go after the devs!?

You want a legit reason to be upset? Be upset at no chocobos! Oh wait, those are coming too! What are you gonna do, complain that you HAVE to pay gil? Complain that they're yellow? Seriously, what will people complain about after they're doing throwing in all the promised changes that we're currently aware about? "It took too long" "Didn't take long enough". Are you fricken serious?

You know, I wouldn't even be upset if you guys had a legit reason. Because then I would feel your pain, I would. But it's getting out of hand, and this time it has nothing to do with MP costs or attack delay or X monster walking into AoE range. Why blow everything I say out of proportion? I'm not 'hating'. I am giving constructive criticism to what we were told by the head hancho of this game.

PS I rather enjoy my swimsuit. And also, I couldn't really care less. I was just responding to a message from THE dev that I thought was silly reasoning for something.
