Can the males get swimsuits that are a little more...manly? [Not a hate thread]

I'm not looking for the devs to make something "not gay". That wasn't what I was saying at all. Just because I don't want to show off skin doesn't mean I'm trying to "gay-proof" FFXIV. I'm sorry if anyone thought my OP was asking that. All I'm asking is to give an alternative style as well that I can be more comfortable with and decide for a reward instead.

It's called having a personal preference of fashion. Just because the kids across the street (Japan) wear one thing doesn't mean I don't understand them, it just means I have a difference taste when it comes to fashion.

The frumpy forumgoer festival will take place in late september. Them you can wear all the penguin suits and and stuffy victorian clothes you like.

And for our DoL class, the Amis--I mean, Settler's set shall be included in game as well!

Well I doubt those will include swimsuits. If it does, great. However, I'm specifically talking about the summer event for next year.

Not sure if anyone's already mentioned this, but it would be a little unfair (and possibly difficult to implement) for male characters to go topless (while female characters can't). I'm not just talking about the political right to go topless (male or female), but females having to carry around at least one extra item in their inventory. If that had happened in this event, then female characters would have 10 summer event items, while male characters would only have 5. Not the end of the world if they add NPC special event item storage, but for now....

They can always make invisible tops for the males. That way, we still have to hold a place in our inventory for it, but we can display our chestal regions to the world as much as we want.

Persoally i would just like to see them change up the rewards for all the special events each year. That way its worth participating in after the first year!! Just think next year for the christmas event it could be a elf costume, new swimsuits each year for the summer event, Next years easter could be a rabbit costume. Give us a reason to participate each year!!
