Lot of bots coming and going at Maelstrom HQ on Cactuar

Hi there. Currently, every 1-2 minutes, you can see a group of bots spawning and despawning at the Maelstrom HQ. They sign up for duty, disappear, come back a while later, talk to the NPC (presumably to turn junk in for seals) and sign up again. There's more than one group of 4 at work here, and they're showing up frequently enough.

As the reporting feature in this game is beyond clunky, and even if we report bots, it takes ages until they're removed, I'd like to leave this screenshot here as proof, rather than reporting a dozen of Asdgks Asndgx (this is a random name, as we are not allowed to mention actual names, but you get the idea) and so on. If anyone at SE cares, you can just go there and look at them showing up and disappearing, one after the other.

Square enix has said time and time again that pictures and video can be altered and they do not accept them as proof. Also, This is an mmo guys, you are not going to be able to stop the RMT. As much as it hurts, Im speaking the truth.

I would report them in game instead of here. Even if a GM saw this post and wanted to do something about it, a picture isn't enough information to go on. They'll need all of the information they ask you to fill out when filing a report.

As I said, I am not going to wait around and write a report for each and every bot with their crazy names. I've reported plenty bots in the past, the proper way, and seen them still in game weeks later. I posted that screenshot here to hopefully show SE where to look for current RMT exploits, if they care at all. If they don't, oh well.

On that note, give us a more convenient way to report bots already, SE.

I've seen a lot of bots level 50 too. Especially black mages. I have however seen a noticeable decrease in gather bots in Ragnarok.

There's this one bot I've been reporting since 2.2 that's still going strong. I gave up on reporting after seeing him again yesterday, lvl 50 miner that only ever collects shards.

Square doesn't care. Yoshi doesn't care. So long as the bots don't interfere with his precious end game gear grind I doubt anything will ever be done about it.
