    I just want to say the developer has made too much idea that wanna to get thing right, but we don't need them, sometimes I think this will be better to sort out by the players ourselves. Also here will have a problem about experience sharing plus some bad players will just come join the fighting without asking. There will be a big consequence for the game balance!
    I would like to suggested that for now, the developer only need to think about the improvement of the contents of this game such as story line, new job, chocobo etc. Please stop those meaningless idea about the rules of fighting monster or party, no one ask them to "change".

    Honestly, I think the post is easily misread. What it looks like (to me, anyway) is that Matsui is talking about two different types of situations, split thus:

    Situation 1: We’re making adjustments so we can drop the claiming system. This means others not in party can attack the same monster and RMT like players can try to take over so making it the party with the first attacker can only get the loot.

    Situation 2: For contents with alliance we’re thinking of a system where the loot is evenly distributed or changing amount of loot depending on amount of damage given.

    Unless you think of them as two separate systems they are completely contradictory. I don't know what is meant by "contents with alliance" but I don't think it has anything to do with what was said prior to that (about open world claiming and sharing the battle). Why would he make a point of describing that they understand that RMT could take advantage of a "shared battle" system ("RMT like players can try to take over") and then offering a solution ("so making it the party with the first attacker can only get the loot"), only to jump right into saying that the team that does the most damage gets the loot (meaning it would be RMT susceptible and the claiming player would be irrelevant, complete opposite of the original point being made)? "The party that claims first gets the loot, except they don't." I just don't think that was what the message was supposed to express.

    Note, for clarity: When I say two situations I don't mean that I think they are debating which of the two to implement. What I mean to say is that I think they are referring to open world claiming (with potential outside help) and alliance content as two separate entities that would both be in the game.

    is not a bad idea.... BUT only as an option. i want be able to choose if i want to share my claim or not.... and the loot distribute depends on dmg given.... come SE, dont forget the fisrt skill system sucks for that reason at the release... so, you are given more equipment to the pro-no-life players, if i claim a NM and a megaplayer hit too and doo more dmg than i he will have more probs to get the drops? come on, please no. What about if i am just having fan soloing a NM and some ppl come and screwme becouse the want to and start to hit in my solo battle. no please. NO.

    I just recomend a system like FFXI, a /help command BUT whiout the penalisations of skills and drops. and for behest use autogroup please, even if we are already in other party, let us autogroup on behest.

    EFF THIS! Whats Wrong With Raids Dropping Gear And A Claim System....3 minutes to decide on gear is fail (why have timer at all) ive seen a few times people are discussing loot and get removed from dungeon only to have the loot effed over.....BTW YOU COMPLAIN ABOUT CRAP WAY TO MUCH THIS GAME IS GOING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION NO ONE LIKES YOUR OPINIONS!

    oh wow once again caps lock and complaining about others complaining.

    mobs dropping unique untradeable gear have contributed alot to the dying economy. it means crafting gear to sell has become much more difficult because why would someone go buy a r25 piece of gear for 20k when they can get a drop for free from the dungeons. like it or not this is part of the problem with the sluggish economy.

    the proposed claim system nobody knows anything about. it is taking the statement from a once again vague statement and trying to figure out how it can work or not work. im sure if we had more information the groups would actually have a reason to support or oppose it.

    the right direction is an opinionated statement. i can say it is going in the complete wrong direction and my opinion is no more valid than yours is. nobody really cares who likes and does not like their opinion here. i'm sure you do not care if anyone doesn't like your opinion either.

    If anyone can acess melee to a claimed enemy I think that would cause major problems to the gameplay. Not just that but also would also mess up the main party. If monster is gainning extra TP from outside courses it will spam its attacks none stop and kill the main party.

    Here is how I think RMT would exploit it.

    You and your buddies are about to fight a NM. You get the claim. You've been looking forward to this for the past week. You've discussed tactics over and over, you're ready for a tough fight...

    RMT wants to farm and they want you to hurry up and get it over with. They jump in the fight and are overlevelled/overnumbered for it so it all ends extremely quickly.

    Or instead of RMT, it could just be other impatient players who want to hurry it all. Same difference. They'd just jump in to rush you through the fight.

    In a more crowded game world, wouldn't most NM fights turn into a overcrowded beat down like behests were originally like?

    You still get the gear, but what you don't get is any enjoyment there was to be had from the game play.
