With /blockaid on, it basically reverts back to current system we have now and to my knowledge right now when someone cures you, who is not in your party, doesn't take any hate.
the truth is even HNM camping wasnt as bad as people made it out to be in ff11. The problem was lazy people that didnt want to show up and put in the time on the HNMs. I claimed numerous HNM/Kings and guess what i didnt use a bot. FF11 was a game that rewarded people who put time, effort and strategy into the game. ff14 is becoming the lazy mans game. w/ nothing but instance raids planned int he future. If a game only has raids then why not just play a damn console RPG because playing w/ the same 4-8 people is not a MMO experience. Not only that but an outside party could easily MPK you if they can engage the monster you're fighting. It saddens me to think that some people have had such a bad time with open-world NMs that they rather they not exist at all. In other words of the many wonderful things that all mmos have they choose to ban certain types away from their lives because they had a bad experience with it.
SE historically is a titan. I would expect more from them the solution should never be to quit alltogether. (the solution to the problems people had with open-world HNMs in xi shouldn't be to quit. I certainly hope were not quitters.
This is a stupid idea
Wasn't the no-claim system limited to multi-party dynamis-style semi-instanced content?

Saying NO to this isn't going to change anything. People said no to Auto-attack, the aggro icon, enmity icon, no to the raid dungeons, no to exclamation points for quests, and guess what? They didn't take any of those things out, they modified them a little bit but that's it. We're getting this new claiming system no matter what, they may tweak it, but that's it.
Blockaid doesn't solve anything the fact is that this system inevitably dumbs down open-world content. Saying that it doesn't matter and open-world content sucks anyway is the same as giving up. We should be able to do better.
It really doesn't make sense for them to say no claiming at all just so that multiple party alliances can fight the same mob. I have an idea how about making it so alliances can claim mobs >.> seems obvious right?
This makes me wonder if we really are getting all the information from that famitsu article. However, if we didn't say anything about it they very well may implement a system like this and effect a future in xiv free of open-world content, so excuse me if I must complain bear in mind i put up with all the crap talk about other features up to now and i've only complained about two things including this.

I am glad to add that your petty request to not add a system no one really knows how its going to work will go on deaf ears to the developers. Just like AA, emnity icon, fiend level, HP bar, etc.
Please, you are looking like ignorant people if you keep refusing a change you dont know nothing about. Please stop.
In my original thread I thought I made this perfectly clear. I was mainly asking what benefits this new system offers over our current system. And yet, this question is still unanswered.Saying NO to this isn't going to change anything.
One problem with the current system is not getting SP for multiple mobs, only the one you have tagged. While I can see this becoming a leveling pseudo-exploit, it's incredibly annoying to not get full SP credit for my own leve mobs. This, I believe, is a step in the right direction.
