So I take it you don't feel the fun of actually doing an event is the reward? Then why are you doing the event? It doesn't give a pair of swimsuits with 9001 defense for all I can see.

And precisely because the player base is as small as now, they need to make sure that everyone got the event reward. You don't want to anger your small player base by not giving some piece of swimsuits to everyone...
