In all honesty, I hope Square doesn't do this again with the next event.

I don't like the lazy bums leeching off of me getting the Bomb to the festival. Seriously, work for what you earn peeps. Hopefully the next go round people will HAVE to engage the mob or whatever it is to get the rewards

EDIT: Please don't get me wrong, I love the time and effort Square put into this event and it's really good!

I had a lot of fun with these events but it did bug me when folks were able to just wait at the end to grab an ash. I would have liked it if the npc would note whether or not a player actually helped with the luring of the bombard somehow.

I LOVE the event in all, I think it's unique and cute. Just don't like people getting my rewards.

Yeah I agree.. Perhaps calling them out would be nice...

Admittedly, I wasn't able to engage the Elementals at Owl's Nest at my level, but I made sure to always go back and help with luring the Bombard and was thankful when the higher levels would take care of the footpads and any wolves that were nearby. I definitely look forward to more events that bring the community together in helping one another in any way!

Yes, when you disagree with someone, the best argument is always to accuse them of cheating.

I stand by what I said. If you were going to lead the bomb anyway, you lost nothing by them being there.
