Yes, when you disagree with someone, the best argument is always to accuse them of cheating.
I stand by what I said. If you were going to lead the bomb anyway, you lost nothing by them being there.
It was a joke dude, seriously calm down.
I lose my faith in mankind that they don't have the decency to atleast help out. I mean the event is supposed to bring people together.. yet here we are and people are agreeing with what i'm saying
Frankly, I wish they would devote whatever resources went into this summer event (which I have not participated in nor plan to) into other areas like linkshell management, job balancing, server re-engineering, transportation, world redesign, and so forth.
Are you seriously saying this? You do know that they have different teams inside of the whole XIV team that works on different things? They've been working on what ALL you've said, so maybe you should just search the forums for their responses because they've responded to everything you've stated.
And if you haven't particapted in the event, why are you here going off topic about it?
Well, you know. They finally made an entertaining event, one reminiscent of XI's. Of course someone is bound to complain..Are you seriously saying this? I bet if this, without question, became the best MMO with seemingly infinite content, there would be people saying things like "SE really needs to tone it down and focus on [my specific wants/needs]; Game is too overwhelming; Please simply [insert thing here], etc."
10/14/11 - FFXIV community civil war erupts. "I'm paying and the game is gonna be awesome." VS. "I'm leaving and the game is gonna die." Let the battles begin!
Resources in any corporation are finite. To produce this event means less resources devoted to improving critical issues within the game. Whether you agree with me or not, the player base by an overwhelming majority agrees that the areas I mentioned are pain points and need as much attention as possible. Producing events, whether you believe it or not, is taking away resources that could be better utilized in other areas. Are you seriously saying this? Enterprise Project Management 101 - Use finite resources to achieve the greatest value for the least cost. There are many more significant value add opportunities within this game than summer events, and that is a indisputable fact. You can be a lemming and cheer this poor allocation of resources until Eorzea crumbles, but it doesn't change the fact that these sorts of things are sucking up resources that could be put to better use elsewhere.
I don't need a stupid definition for you to attempt to make a point. Bathing suits were already in the dats from what I've heard and I'm sure this event was planned at release. BUT WHAT DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND ABOUT DIFFERENT GROUPS WITHIN THE TEAM FOCUSING ON DIFFERENT THINGS?
Geez people... think about it. You think that the whole team stops and says "WAIT! LET'S ALL WORK ON THIS EVENT AND FORGET THE ACTUAL GAMEPLAY THAT DOESN'T REALLY MATTER"...
I can also say the same for you. The people who want to have event locked out to other people, is the people who want to bot and sell ashes later for real money. And they want the event to be locked out, because that would certainly bump up the prices by a large margin. Think those silly party hat in Runescape.
Really? I'm wanting it to be locked so I don't be leeched on. How would you like someone sitting there getting your reward at the end of a leve for doing nothing? I don't see eye to eye with someone and I guess I like to work for what I earn. Some people grew up differently I guess.I can also say the same for you.
