There are a plenty of players without any dc's / 90k's (like me, from germany @shiva)

Yeah we have surveyed FC and its about 4/10 of us who are constantly getting the problem. Its not 100% clear on why right now as we are a mix of locations, ISPs and platforms. Its obviously a problem SE's end but its not affecting their complete network. I ran speed test during one DC and got full speed and a 9ms ping, its not my connection that is the issue.

Had both 90k and 2002 over and over today, basically all instanced content is out of the question, couldn't even get through one of the Nin job quests. Id like to here more from SE on what they are doing to fix this, I find the lack of feedback from them shows the disregard they have for their subscribers. This seems to only be affecting some players as my FC is divided between those who are getting it constantly and those not getting it at all. Which to me says its a network issue or platform specific. Can we get more details please?

In our FC it too isn't everyone who's having this problem. Jill and me here are from the same FC and while she's from the south of Germany, I am from the West, so the start of the route should be a tad different. Still, both of us are having these problems.

Earlier I couldn't even perfom a ping or a tracert to Ragnarok (timeout). Right now it worked.
Maybe one of the hops is having some issues?

Could be, I don't think any of the US based people in our FC have this issue right now. It would be nice if the EU servers were in Europe, that might help a bit. There is a lot of cable between here and Canada if they based it in Germany things might see an improvement. Germany is the standard place for European content so they should have no problem locating a decent place to host.

I'm on Excalibur right now for approx. 30 minutes without any issue.
To check on the routes I am taking to Ragnarok and to Excalibur, I made a tracert on both servers and the only difference is the third hop: Routers owned by Telekom. They're in the same subnet (just as Excalibur and Ragnarok are) and honestly, I don't understand what might be the problem @_@ My knowledge regarding networking/routing is quite limited too...

Well, I don't think that everyone in this thread is from Germany and uses these particular routers at some point? Regardless, I am going to search the web if there's a disturbance in the Telekom Network.

Am from the Netherlands here. Have no hops on the Telekom network. It's unlikely to have been the source of the issue. No problems here anymore either for nearly an hour now though. Let's hope it stays like that.
