1. Multiple action bars should have a high priority, so long as they're optional. I personally prefer one bar at a time.Just going to take the opportunity to post this. Those that frequent the forums and updates to the lodestone know that multiple action bars are coming in the future, hopefully the incredibly near future.
Reinheart has done some wonderful work with the translation thread and picked up something related to the action bar.
If they want feedback, lets give them feedback.
- Multiple action bars should be a very large priority. It significantly increases the ability to play and use several different abilities in demanding situations. Thus, please bump this up to your higher priority stations.
- Please make sure we can have the actions bars both vertical and horizontal.
- Drag and drop capabilities for spells, macros, and usable items is a necessary feature that must be present in the new action bar. (Probably the most important on my list)
- Please allow us to resize each bar individually. For instance, someone may like a larger bar for main abilities while using a smaller bar for items and macros.
- When swapping jobs/classes, the action bars should also switch automatically to last known skill layout that was active on that job/class.
- Keep the circular icons.
- When or if pet classes/jobs are created, please have a separate bar for pet skills that is fully customizable and bindable.
- Each icon/placement on the bar needs to be keybind ready with full support for shift, ctrl, alt, and mouse buttons (including middle mouse, browser back, and browser forward)
- Tooltips should appear when hovering over the skill with the mouse. Information included on the tooltip should include information about (but not limited to) action cost, damage type, cooldown, casting time, damage output in the form of concrete numbers and/or percentages, and descriptions.
- Macros should have customized icons (they already have them, so this shouldn't be an issue)
- Slightly related and slightly unrelated to the action bar, but please release a development kit and/or information regarding add-on support to party unit frames and the action bar.
and again, thank you to Reinheart for finding much of the JP information.
2. Again, not something I would use, but should be added.
3. See 2.
4. See 3.
5. A must have.
6. Yes please! The current icons are great.
7. Yes.
8. Yes.
9. They already show cast time and cost. Cooldown would be nice. Damage numbers are unnecessary clutter, however.
10. They already do.
11. No add-ons. Ever. Hopefully.
