Eorzea's Next Top Model - Cycle 3 Round 6

Welcome back, ENTM fans! Last week our models were doin' their part to improve relationships with th'beast tribes! It was a close race, but sadly we had t'bid farewell t'long time ENTM fan turned model Lowena. Was a pleasure havin' you in th'contest love, an' we hope you'll stick around!

Missed our model interviews? Well fear not mates, 'cause they're back again! This time we're talkin' with th'one an' only Aiden Weaver!

Tyriont: Thanks for givin' me your time, Aiden. First up, let's hear about your name an' any story behind it.

Aiden: I wouldn't say my story is particularly intersting... I left my clan, and wanted to distance myself from my culture. I decided to take a Hyur name. I did choose Weaver because of the skills I learned in my clan, but otherwise it's none too special of a story.

Tyriont:Makes sense at least! Clear an' simple reasonin', I like it. Next up, what is it y'do when you ain't modellin'?

Aiden: Lately I just find myself sitting around, waiting for something interesting to happen. I'm too lazy to go traversing the Coils of Bahamut, and the last time I attempted to kill them extreme primals I ended up using 8 of my lives! I hear rumors of a casino opening up soon in Ul'dah, that would certainly help me kill some time!

Tyriont: Casino, eh? In Ul'dah though...shame. I've a spot o', uh...legal bother there, or I'd check that out myself. Anyways! Why'd you decide t'enter the contest?

Aiden: It sounded like fun! It was also a bit of a last minute decision. I heard the announcement on the last day to entire, and just went for it. Glad I did, since I never thought I would get this far!

Tyriont: We're all glad you did too! Next question, what's your most loved place in all o' Eorzea?

Aiden: Limsa Lominsa. I've never ventured out of Eorzea, but it's my dream to traverse the open seas. My duties as The Warrior of Light sadly prevent me from following my dreams and joining Admiral Merlwyb's crew, or perhaps even the ranks of the famed pirate Rhoswen. Aye, the sea is my dream, but alas it seems Eorzea is looking to the sky. Might be quite some time before my duty allows me to sail.

Tyriont: Man after me own heart! Excellent choice. Much better'n Adeline's. Now, Haiku time! You know th'drill by now.

Aiden: I wish for Riches
But I lack dedication
Give me Money please.

Tyriont: Hah! Ain't that the way of all of us. Last up, one thing we don't know 'bout you yet!

Aiden: My skin used to be a bit bluer, I used my Fantasia to make it a bit more peach/tan colored. I looked a little sickly before!

Adeline: The angle is good. Having no expression there really works well. Bravo.
Eirwen: You managed to pull such a great shot with a good background when most people couldn't do so. Nice expression. Good angle.
Rhaya: Dramatic! I think it would've looked better if you were a little further away to the back.

Iris: That's a good shot, would've been my 4th pick. However, it felt a little dead with the color choices and that repetitive facial expression.
Kaiyoko: Flashy. It's looking a little weird that the customers aren't even looking at you when you are screaming for attention. Didn't feel natural at all..
Saku: I like it, I'm not sure on what you could do to improve it, it's a good shot but pretty average as well. What bothers me though is that your pose is not much relative to the expressions/poses the NPCs are making, also there are so many NPCs in the background, It's just not sync'd.
Xev: That customer seems pissed and you're having this big fat grin on you face to piss them off even more? lol.

Flare: Was a tie between all the remaining, however it felt that you were a little more creative.

1. Flare Anderfel: A cute and humorous picture. You posing, expression, and use of minion help tell a story.
2. Epsil Ion: Great lighting, angles, composition, expression, and posing. I also like your use of extras, they add to the picture with out taking focus away from you. As for a critique, it's more of a suggestion, play with your posing and perhaps play with some motion, I've noticed that a lot of your pictures look stationary or rooted. :B
3. Adam Flyrmyn: Your composition and expression help tell a story here. My only complaint is that the extra at the table was more noticeable, they're the punchline and it's a little hard to notice them. I also wish that I could see your eyes a little more.

1. Rhaya Relanah: The posing and expression help tell a humorous story here. I also like your composition and how close we are to the action.
2. Kaiyoko Star: I think for this round, you are the best looking. The angle of your face and body , posing, and expression are lovely. You also have nice lighting on yourself and I like the use of glowing objects in the background. However, I don't really feel like anything is happening in the picture.
3. Eirwen Mackenzie: Your expression and pose help tell how hectic the kitchen is. Your angles and composition are also nice. My only critique would be that I wish you played with lighting more, made the foreground lighter and the background darker, just to add more depth to the picture.

4. Sakuraya Kai: Your pose and expression really help develop a character here, you are the head chief here, there's no time for gossipy waitresses. I would have liked to see a little more of your face and maybe a little more lighting on you to stand out more, though.
5. Iris Dawnshade: You look cute in this picture, as always. You expression is nice and I like that you're using rule of thirds. However, I think we can be smidge more zoomed in here, there is a bit of unneeded space here.
6. Adeline Urusa: I like your lighting, face angle, and background. However, I wish that extra was a little more to the left, so we can see more of you and that there was a little more expression on your face.
7. Xev Bellwyn: Your body angle and pose are nice but that extra is bringing you down like a sack of popotoes. He's just sitting there like a statue, not even staring at you. Also, your expression isn't a flattering as it should be... >A>()

Male
4. Jinx Flareboot: It was between your and Adam this round for me. In the end, I chose Adam just because he had a better composition. However, you do have better lighting and I like the extra in the foreground.
5. Aiden Weaver: I like your posing and outfit. A nice scene overall. However, your lighting is a little to intense here, your extra's face is glowing, which is taking attention away from you.
6. Marik Destiel: Nice posing and use of extras. However, I wish we were closer to the action, there's a lot of unused space here.
7. Fate Lhas: The lighting is nice and I like that you're actually cooking. This is a nice scene. However, you don't stand out enough for me. This looks more like someone took a screenshot of NPCs then a photoshoot. >x>()
