First day of the new patch, I eventually get through the Story, I unlock CT and the rest of the nice stuff, I figure I'd get my Expert Roulette back so I proceed to unlock and queue for the new dungeons.

So, Tam Tara HM... went through the entire dungeon, and what did we get;

Potash, Hardened Sap, Minium, Voidsent Blood and a pair of ilvl80 earrings that look no different to the other generic earrings.

Yea, a lot of crap, so we go to Hull breaker Isle, lovely place, finish the whole thing and we got;

Lime Sulphur, Animal Fat, more Voidsent Blood, a BRD Chest piece and for defeating the last boss... MINIUM!

WOW! Incredible loot so far /sarcasm

So onto the last of the new dungeons, Stone Vigil HM... I won't bore you with the details, we basically go the freakin' same, consumable mat crap and I believe Tank trousers.


PLEASE STOP PUTTING CRAP MATS AS DROPS IN ALL NEW DUNGEONS! I WANT ACTUAL LOOT! NOT POINTLESS CONSUMABLES THAT CAN JUST BE BOUGHT FROM THE MARKET BOARD!!!!

I agree, people complained about it in 2.2, and yet they did it again. It's so infuriating clearing these bosses and getting garbage crafting drops half the time. More often then not it's not even potash or coke, things that have at least some small value, it's filtered water or cooking sherry. Totally worthless.

Just ran all 3 of the new dungeons and we got 4 freaking drops for everything. That's 2/3s of everything dropped was just crafting items. I feel bad for fresh 50's trying to gear up, it's just a grind hoping you even get gear, let alone if it's from the right set.

Seriously SE, bosses need to drop GEAR not crafting mats that are not even worth the gil you vendor them for.

I wouldn't mind if these craft materials were rewarded from the optional chests (the ones that drop potions and ethers), but it's a massive slap in the face to defeat a boss and be rewarded with them.

Really? I saw Potash going for as low as 400gil, filtered water/minium/voidsent blood/whetstone have almost no value as they are, the only ones that have any decent value is maybe Lime Sulphur and Peacock Ore.

No I'd like to see how the new armour looks and perhaps even glamour it, I'm capped on seals so I don't need it for that.

Economies between servers are weird. On Exodus Potash are 4K each. A lot of the crafting materials have gone up in price due to the new craftable stuff. Even then worthless accessories have jumped in price due to some of the newer quests (the Greatest Story Never Told being a culprit of this).
