Just a FYI, but you can get a lot more than 800 per leve by doing the crafting ones (don't remember if triple turn-in or courier gives more but it's one of those). If you're trying to get that achievement by doing only combat, you can forget about it.

The hq turn in of the cobalt ingot levequest called "dealing with the tough stuff" will net you around 3k a pop. I found that to be the easiest 45+ levequest to complete multiple times.

Yeah that's currently the best way I know of but, its still an extremely long process. I'm kinda hoping the expansion will introduce more leves with greater gil rewards.
