Well with the expansion in development. I was thinking of things I would like to see change, Added, Removed.
Some are just the musing of a gamer, some are actually Serious.

Serious:
-Item Updates/Changes-
1. All Potions & Ethers should receive a buff.
They should Heal for more & need a dramatically faster Cooldown.

2. Antidotes, Eye Drops, Spine Drops should have the same Cooldown time as Esuna & Leeches, and should NOT share a Cooldown with Potions/Ethers.

Companions:
The Companion Tree should be shared across Multiple Mounts.
Mounts that are "Combative" should be interchangeable.
(This would justify the insane amount of exp it takes to lvl a Companion.)
Examples:
Behemoth, Coeurl, Drake, Elbst, Direwolf, Ahriman, Warbear/lion, Goobbue, & Chocobo.

Each of those creatures can fight.

Apartments:
Add Apartments. Significantly cheaper Housing, that charges a weekly rent fee.
This is for the Casual Players who will probably never see 1 million Gil (Legitimately), let alone the 8 Million a House costs.
Fun Stuff:

Races:
Bangaa, Moogle, Goblin, and Seeq!
Give us them!

New Job:
Judge
Wields a Hammer and Scroll, has abilities to buff & debuff friend & foe alike.
The Job can forge new laws on the spot that even a Raid Mob must abide by.
"No Special moves unless you are Eorzean."
"No Area of Effect abilities."
"Must drop ilvl200 gear."

All Mage Jobs now have Alternate Paths.
Tired of casting? Turn your spell into a Melee ability!
Ruin is now "Book of Ruin"
Teach the enemies of Eorzea to fear every Wand, Staff, Cane, and Book they see!

Mounts:
Slimes, Flan, Lalafell, Motorcycles(FF7), Cars (FF8), Raptors.

Dungeons:
Castrum Meridianum & The Praetorium Director's Cut
The new Hardmode Dungeons, complete with 7x more unskippable cutscenes.
All deleted scenes, Bloopers, and extra scenes must be watched to progress!
5x more music tracks using only the word: "mi"
4x more Plumes during Ultima Weapon
4x more Drones.
An Airship will crash in every frame!
Concluding with the toughest fight in FF14 History...
