40-50 Leveling?

I can't seem to find a way to level from 40-50. No one is in the zones to FATE grind. As a DPS, I can't queue up for anything unless I feel like waiting for an hour and of course any moment I go to grab a drink or take a piss, I miss it. I already did all my quests for my first 50. So what in the seven hells do DPS on Gilgamesh do to level from 40-50?

If leves didn't have limited allowances, sure. But that's not the case. If I wasted all of my allowances repeating old leves, I wouldn't even gain a single level out of them right now. What in the world is a DPS to do at 40-50 when no one seems to be playing at those levels? 1-30 was fine and 50 content on my Dragoon is fine, but 40-50 is empty, no one wants to play, no one is doing FATES, it's just... Ugh.

Leves, beast quests, fill out your challenge log, low level and trial roulettes (tend to queue up faster than if you pick a specific dungeon), hunting log, fates (just because there aren't others doing them doesn't mean you can't do some on your own). If you're just trying to do the highest dungeon possible for the most exp, why not get a group together from your fc or start one in PF. Just some suggestions. Hope you reach 50 soon!

Oh, I am doing most of that, but as far as FC goes, I don't have one. Well, I have one I made to talk with friends and viewers, sure, but not an actual one. All the FC I've ran into seem to do the same. Just a few members of friends and nothing more. I guess I've just been spoiled from questing, considering it only took me a few hours to get my Dragoon from 40-50 off of them, compared to trying to get things done on my NIN and after days of playing, only gaining 2 levels. It just went from hitting 50 in the blink of an eye to insanely unbearable grinding, even with a +50% bonus. I came back to give NIN a go and I'm just about ready to give up and just play Dragoon, seeing as how there is no reasonable content at 40-50 for me to do. Ah well... Was hoping someone on Gilgamesh would respond with a place that people actually play at 40-50 for FATE grinding and what have you.

Well depending on what lvl you are, you can also farm DD and AV if you throw up a pf with that as the goal. Either that or you find yourself a nice tanking buddy. Honestly I grab my chocobo and head over to coerthas to fate grind unless you are playing on some ungodly off hour there should be ppl there doing fates. around lvl 45 move to Northern Than and fate grind there, start a pf if you have to ppl will join our server is too populated not to have ppl doing what you are doing.

Queue for dungeon / start a PF or join a PF group to farm AV or DD first room. FATE in Coerthas (40-44) or Northern Thanalan (45-50) while you wait. Rinse. Repeat.
