    How to SCH in T10

Can someone share with me some tips for T10? I am having trouble applying adloquium on the target, by the time I see the rebuff mark on the party list, and select the player, I might not make it in time. Is it really necessary to use adloquium or can I just use pre cast succor?

Myself and our scholar with general healing tips can be found here:

but in general during non add phase preys your whm should be handling the tank healing so you can focus on landing the adlo on the prey target. the trick is to learn the timing so you can keep yourself from getting caught casting, since even with a cancel you may not be able to land the adlo with consistency.

Sometimes succor is just not enough. As Pharazon pointed out, knowing the timing of prey really helps. Prey will out between mechanics usually. Once you get the timing down you will be able to adlo quicker. However, I must say during double prey, it is important that you and the WHM split up who casts on whom. The way my group does it is that I get whomever is on bottom and the WHM gets whomever is on top; Unless it's on ourselves, in which case priority is ourselves and the other covers whoever got the prey.

The prey mechanic is pretty easy once you look into a little closer.

First up, for the bulk of the encounter prey is entirely predictable to the point where you can time it to within a few seconds accuracy. Record yourself if possible, jot down the rotation for the first two main phases and stick that to the side of your monitor or tv whilst you carry on learning the encounter.

For phase 1, it's easiest for the SCH to handle Prey with Adloq, you need to be alert and able to target people quickly for this as not being able to will pretty much guarantee a wipe in phase 3.

Initially, the double prey of the add phase feels like the hardest part of the mechanic to deal with, but frankly, it's actually the easiest. Have the WHM pop POM and Stoneskin both healers as well as all of the DPS, if you can time it so you start doing this a second or two before the adds pop, all the better as the first double prey will come right as you finish up the stone skins. As long as the tanks position the adds correctly and don't get the raid AoE'd these stone skins coupled with a pre succor will safely absorb two prey hits without issue. More gets a little risky so it's better to re stoneskin the target after the prey hit to be safe particularly on the second add phase.

Finally, phase 3 consists of a 2 move combo followed by ~20 seconds of fluff attacks, prey only ever gets used alongside critical rip as a potential 'fluff' attack. It's easiest if the WHM focuses on dealing with the critical rip hit on the tank whilst the SCH Adloq's the prey target, if you're struggling to spot the prey quick enough, remember that you can focus target the boss and watch for the critical rip cast at this point.

Good luck, and work on your targeting speed and accuracy!

Phase 1: Prey comes after Wild Charge
Phase 2 (Adds) : Double Prey pretty much immediately after adds spawn (Have your tanks pop CDs, so you can spare 1 GCD to adlo/stoneskin victims)
Phase 3 : After Heat Lightning strikes (Not HL + Wild Charge combo, just HL).
Phase 4 (Adds): Similar to Phase 2, but due to the nature of additional adds, there will be a consecutive double Prey coming up as well (not simultaneous, more like 2nd prey icon appearing 2 seconds after 1st prey icon appears)
Phase 5 : Always after HL + Tether combo, Prey will combo with Critical Rip as well, better assign 1 healer to handle Prey and another to handle Rip.

Preys are extremely scripted, just get ready when you know 1 is about to come up.

I noticed if dps have b4b up my adlo will not mitigate enough and the additional stoneskin is needed. Knowing this can help your WHM prioritize stoneskins on your physicality dps who use b4b.
