who says you were not one of the beneficiaries of those *scum* as you say?...you know you bought an armour from the market that some RMT provided to a player the gils for said player to afford to buy material to then sell said thing on the market for a price (whatever the price) that landed in your hands in the end you were the beneficiary AND part of an illicite action..

To me you contributed to the survival of those so called *scum* people...and worse you were the beneficiary of said ways. Careful when you call others scum, you may be victim, albeit innocent but still victim and it may be hard for you to prove that you were not aware of such activities.

She has a point though - Those "cheap" shards you bought? Most likely from RMT. SE is known to remove gil if it was gotten through an RMT transcation (either bought or MB for example), so while it is nice to thank SE, the situation is a bit deeper than just seeing bots running around or getting the occasional tell.

While the point stands that some items bought from the MB may be connected to RMT services, it needs to be understood that real players can't discern the difference between player and RMT service based solely on MB price and the name of a retainer (some real players choose to wildly undercut to ensure quick sale, some people name retainers something random because they don't care, etc). The fact that Mei feels it necessary to label me as an RMT supporter and/or "beneficiary" for creating a thread to thank SE's team for their combat efforts is beyond ridiculous. Not to mention the fact that Mei has no idea what my personal practices are within the game. In fact, I'm very self-sufficient... I gather/craft my own items, and in the situations where I can't get an item, I have friends who are willing to help me.
