XI didn't have gearchecks rofl, it had people that liked to pretend it did. XI gear was more cosmetic than anything outside of a select few items. I expect XIV to be the same way.

XIV gear is cosmetic too. Only a handful of people have realized it. This LS realized it too. I've been going for style since day 1 lol. Gathering armor is useless..... crafting armor is useless.... battle armor is useless.... All thanks to everything you do being about 90% dominated by 'your rank Vs Opponent rank.'

What? They're bathing suits, it's not sex selling the game. Also WoW didn't invent low equipment runs, not by a long shot. Had SE not mentioned not being responsible for swimsuit dungeon runs ending in death not many people would have cared as much but it's just a fun low equipment run. God forbid people should have some fun with the event items.

This is the one of the most ridiculous responses I've heard about anything pertaining to this game. Actually I'm pretty sure you should be glad they don't play on your server! Let me guess, you haven't even killed Batraal yet?
And IF it were about sex selling a game ...I just can't even think of a response to this it's that stupid. Last time I checked we were all adults. I think we've all seen "chicks" in bikinis before. Get a life.
